March 2 @ 7:45 pm - 8:45 pm
Free
Attendees of the 2025 International Studies Association (ISA) conference in Chicago are invited to join PeaceRep for a reception on Sunday evening.
When: Sunday 02 March 2025, 7:45pm – 8:45pm (CST)
Where: Buckingham at the Hilton Chicago
PeaceRep researchers from the University of Edinburgh, University of St Andrews and Coventry University will be hosting this event, and are looking forward to this opportunity to talk about our research on peace and conflict resolution in a friendly and cordial atmosphere.
At the reception, we will share more about our data-driven approach to peace and conflict research, including:
• Hands-on demos of our data and PeaceTech tools like the PA-X Peace Agreements Database and Peace Process Tracker
• Key insights from our comparative research into global fragmentation and the evolving role of local and international actors and mediators
• Our work on perceptions of peace in South Sudan, including findings from a longitudinal survey recording daily experiences of safety and views on elections, governance, security, trust in public authorities, and civic space.
Please note that this event is open to those registered to attend the 2025 ISA Conference.
