Rohingya Youth Action Research, Myanmar/Bangladesh
Dr Rebecca Sutton will work with Youth workers in Cox’s Bazar to understand how Covid-19 is being managed, and also to gather information as to how views on ‘return’ are becoming re-shaped. This work will also be supported by wider convening of humanitarian-peace-development-health actors to understand how they are integrating conflict sensitivitiy to health responses, and how they are understanding and mitigating the impact of Covid-19 on conflict resolution efforts.
Strand I: Covid-19 Peace and Transition Processes
This project is part of Strand I of our work with the Covid Collective, in which we are researching how Covid-19 and pandemic responses are affecting peace process dynamics, modalities, and prospects for successful mediation among the main conflict actors, at national and local levels, with a particular focus on South Sudan, Yemen and Syria.
