Allyson Doby
Allyson Doby is the PeaceRep Communications Manager, based at the University of Edinburgh Law School. Allyson manages internal and external PeaceRep communications, including strategy and branding, research dissemination and engagement, and impact.
Allyson holds an MSc in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA in International Affairs and Spanish from James Madison University. Her research interests include women’s rights, gender and development, and bride kidnapping and forced marriage in Central Asia.
Prior to joining PeaceRep, Allyson worked in communications and project management in the voluntary sector, including Scotland’s International Development Alliance and Young Scot, and spent two years teaching in the Kyrgyz Republic with the US Peace Corps.
