Prof Aisling Swaine recognised in top 100 list

PSRP Associate Aisling Swaine has been named as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Gender Policy 2021 by Apolitical.

Apolitical’s 100 Most Influential People in Gender Policy honours and celebrates people of all genders working on gender policy and making the world more equitable, whether they exert their influence through policymaking, public service, research, philanthropy, advocacy, activism or however else.

Aisling is Professor of Gender Studies, School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice, University College Dublin. Aisling’s research and teaching focuses on conflict-related violence against women, transitional justice and global gender policy, with a focus on gender-based violence and on the women, peace and security agenda. She was recognised in the 100 Most Influential People in Gender Policy for her work on gender-based violence.
